Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Learn by officialkasun. We strive to provide the highest quality digital educational content. Because our courses are digital products that are accessible instantly upon enrollment, we maintain a specific refund policy to protect our intellectual property while ensuring fair treatment for our students.

Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Timeframe: Refund requests must be initiated within 24 hours of the successful payment.
  • Access Status: Once a student has enrolled in a course and/or accessed any course content (videos, files, or assignments), the purchase is considered final and non-refundable.
  • Constraint: "Change of mind" after starting or accessing the course is not applicable for a refund.

Service Charges & Fees

Please note that refund amounts are subject to original payment service charges:

  • Online Payments (IPG): A 3% service charge is applied to all online payments. This fee is non-refundable.
  • Bank Transfers: No commission or service charges are applied to direct bank transfers.

Refund Process & Timing

The processing of refunds depends on the status of the funds and the Internet Payment Gateway (IPG) provider.

1. Pre-Receipt Refunds (Fast Track)

If the IPG provider allows, and the request is made within 3 days (before funds are transferred to our local bank), a full refund may be initiated. No extra charges from our end will apply, but this is subject to the IPG provider's specific policies. We use PayHere as our primary IPG. You can visit payhere.lk to review their detailed policies.

2. Standard Refunds

If funds have already been received via online payment or direct bank transfer, the refund process will take approximately 5 working days.

Deductions: A service charge of 3% or LKR 50 (whichever is higher) may be deducted from the original amount to cover administrative and banking costs.

Actual processing times depend on external factors including IPG provider delays, banking system processing, and national holidays.
